Honda was making a push to be seen as a formidable competitor in off-road capability. I was tasked to design a page that showcased what their SUV lineup was capable of. Using the existing components that were built during the Vehicle Landing Page redesign, I set out to make a page that felt unique and fresh enough to stand on its own, while still fitting within the Honda site template and design language.

Crucial to Honda’s all-wheel-drive capabilities, torque vectoring was complex engineering that needed a simple visual representation. I worked with our CGI artists to create an overhead video of our Honda Pilot driving through a snowy mountain pass, a still image that we brought to life in CGI.

I provided direction and worked with illustrators to create graphics showing towing capability. I managed art directors to break our assets into pieces that could be animated. I worked with our development team to insure design integrity as well as realism in our user-triggered animations that were achieved fully in code.

Using existing footage, I created edits showing off our extreme testing at facilities in Baudette, MN and the Mojave Desert.
